A fully qualified practitioner, I am a registered member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and abide by their code of ethics. I hold an enhanced DBS - a certificate to confirm my validity and suitability to work with vulnerable groups, including children. I am registered and verified Therapist with the Counselling Directory.
My studies and training in the evolution and function of society and human development and psychological and behavioural health has given me a solid foundation to continue to explore and work with the interconnection between culture, society and human development, relationships, health and wellbeing.
Working with diverse client groups my post qualification training focusses around relationships and attachment, trauma and (complex) post-traumatic stress including manifestations of such which often display as addictive behaviours and mental illness including anxiety and depression.
The rapid transformations in modern society, the digital revolution and its’ wider implications has influenced my clinical practice whereby I have a special interest working with teenagers and young adults.
I further have a special interest in Relationships and Loneliness, Addiction and Co-Dependency, Attachment and Early Trauma, Loss and Grief, Anxiety and Depression.
I work from a bio-psycho-social and spiritual model of human development, incorporating a holistic and integrative approach to health and wellbeing.
